After a distinguished 33‑year career with the federal government, I retired in 2025 having served in numerous roles, most recently as a Quality Analyst. Throughout my career, I built a reputation for problem‑solving, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to public service—qualities that continue to guide me in my work today.
My passion for real estate began long before I ever imagined it as a career. As a teenager, I often helped my brother show apartments in the building he managed. I loved every part of the process—walking prospective residents through the space, explaining layouts, answering questions, and helping people envision their next chapter. That early experience stayed with me and eventually inspired me to purchase my first investment property, becoming both a landlord and property manager of my own portfolio.
Over the years, while advancing through my government career, I continued buying and selling properties. Each transaction reinforced the same thought: I could do this. I can see myself as a real estate agent. I made a promise to myself that once I retired, I would pursue real estate full time.
In August 2025, I earned my real estate license. By September, I retired from federal service, and in October I joined my first brokerage. Like many new agents, I quickly realized that having a license wasn’t enough—I needed guidance, structure, and a team environment similar to what I had thrived in for decades. Although I had a mentor, I still felt like I was navigating the industry alone.
That realization led me to LPT Realty and the Gary Mercer Team. I knew immediately that this was the supportive, collaborative environment I had been missing. Even in my short time at my previous brokerage, I was honored to receive their Spirit Award, recognizing my positive attitude, professionalism, and eagerness to learn—qualities I bring with me into every client interaction.
My entire professional life has centered around serving the public. I’ve spent decades helping people solve problems they couldn’t solve on their own. Listening deeply, showing empathy, and staying determined until I find the right solution are at the core of who I am. Real estate allows me to continue that mission in a new and meaningful way.
Today, I bring my experience, integrity, and tenacity to every buyer, seller, and investor I work with. Whether guiding someone through their first home purchase or helping a family transition into their next chapter, I am committed to making the process smooth, informed, and empowering.
