About the Gary Mercer Team
The Gary Mercer Team has helped buyers and sellers across Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties since 1987. Today we are a team of more than 50 agents at LPT Realty, working from our office at 893 S. Matlack St in West Chester.

Where we started
Gary Mercer Sr. began his real estate career in 1987 and has raised his family in West Chester. He was an early believer that a well-run team serves clients better than any one agent can: more coverage, more expertise, and someone available for every showing.
That belief built the team. In May 2025, we moved to LPT Realty, a brokerage built to support teams, and opened our West Chester office.
Real estate runs in the family
Sharra Mercer, the team's CEO, is a third-generation Chester County real estate professional. Her grandmother became a top new-construction agent here in the 1980s, and Sharra grew up helping her dad's team put together property flyers. Today she leads the team's sales and marketing, its work with builders, and the His & Hers Advocates Program for divorcing homeowners.
